Operations & Maintenance

ACE Ventures provides Operations & Maintenance (O&M) once our clients Solar PV System is up and running. All performance guaranties and warranties from all hardware vendor’s are passed on to our clients as well as all performance guaranties from all sub-contractor’s. Typically ACE Ventures includes a 2 year system performance guaranty on all our Solar PV Systems, our goal is to have our systems operate above all performance guaranties. After 2 years our client enters into a modest yearly Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract.

Monitoring

ACE Ventures provides 24 x 7 hour Output Monitoring. From the first day our clients Solar PV System systems go online, a solar monitoring system reports real time performance to ACE Ventures, our client and other stakeholders. Through the onsite monitoring and SCADA system, the meter is read every fifteen minutes and the energy production data is stored on a remote server.

The SCADA system is also capable of collecting zone level PV production data from different parts of the PV system. This lets the ACE Ventures team immediately detect and dispatch technicians if necessary to rectify issues with the system. Again, our goal is to have the systems we’ve installed, maintained and monitored perform better than the energy performance guaranties.

Performance Optimization

Our Solar Operations Team analyzes raw system performance data is through a complex set of algorithms to calibrate the performance of the system against an expected baseline. If any problems are detected, the Solar Operations Team immediately deploys personnel from its team or from other local contractor partners usually within hours but no later than 48 hours to verify the issue at hand. Emergency services or unscheduled service calls are attended to by ACE technicians directly where possible or through our select network of local support staff. Through this process of real time monitoring the systems are kept running optimally throughout their life.
